Safety Policy
Airco Aircraft Charters Ltd. supports all the legal requirements and the best aviation practices regarding safety and intends to provide its employees with a safe and healthy working environment.
It is this company’s intention to have zero accidents and to eliminate damage to equipment and property, and injury to personnel.
The Airco Aircraft Charters Ltd. Safety Management Program shall include all aspects of flight safety and ground safety involving aviation resources.
The responsibility for developing and managing the Safety Program is assigned to, the Company Aviation Safety Officer (CASO). This responsibility includes the authority to establish the program and to specify internal safety reporting, investigation, inspection and awareness requirements.
Responsibility for implementing the Safety Management Program rests with the CASO, the Director of Flight Operations , the Chief Pilot, the Director of Maintenance and Dispatch. This responsibility includes the authority to establish support for the program in each department. Each department manager will be held accountable to ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to prevent incidents and accidents.
The CASO shall report to myself, the President of the company, and have direct access to all managers and all employees on safety issues.
All employees are required to adopt the standards and procedures set forth in the Airco Aircraft Charters Ltd. Safety Management Program.
